Home: About
David Garofalo is a physics professor at Kennesaw State University, a public research university in the Atlanta metropolitan area with an enrollment of over 45,000 students. Originally from Italy, most of his undergraduate physics was completed at the University of Bologna while running after a soccer ball in Italy's lower divisions. After a brief period at La Sapienza in Rome, he moved to the USA and obtained his PhD in physics with emphasis on black hole astrophysics at the University of Maryland at College Park, followed by postdoctoral work at NASA and Caltech. He has also taught physics at the California State University, Harvey Mudd College, Columbia University, and Fordham University in the Bronx.
